Intellectual property issues involve not only issues of copyright and such property as we might gain from, but also issues of culture, such as language and modes of thought, which are intimately connected with language. A person's language is his intellectual property. The dominant society has no right to take that from him. The same is true of his religion. These issues will be addressed below.
